I refer to Dave Naylors post http://www.davidnaylor.co.uk/google-will-remove-toolbar-pagerank.html, who wrote a post not so long ago about Google ditching PR as a metric for websites.

Quite an interesting read I thought, but I concur with you Frank that it doesn’t really matter too much, and I say that from having some experience of it.
